Jorge Paulo Quiros (1989 - Ilhéus - BA)is an artist, art teacher, writer; from an early age his identification with the arts was already manifest.

As a child, he dedicated himself to drawing and painting inspired by the masters of the Renaissance and Baroque, Classicism and Romanticism, such as Rembrandt, Rubens, Bartolomeu Estebam Murilo, Diego Velazques, Bouguereau, Waterhouse, Millais, Sargent, Zorn, among others; his love for Art led him to delve deeper into artistic painting and drawing, which are, in fact, complementary, like painting being the extension and crowning of drawing, and this being the basis and formal foundation of painting; the goal of his life being to achieve good painting and be a great artist, regardless of the conventions of the fads of the time and the dictates of contemporary art. For Jorge Quiros, what makes a work is its manifest strength, recognizable by the sensitivity of its audience's vision, not what they say about it or the dubious concepts that would legitimize it. Despite his artistic education being self-taught, where he discovered through observation  and through constant practice the paths of authorial painting and drawing, in addition to his own style, Jorge Quiros graduated in visual arts in 2014, as well as teaching in public and private schools from 2011 to 2018. He currently lives and works in São Paulo - SP.
Author of several works, with influences from romanticism, symbolism and expressionism, his paintings stand out for the classic strength that is mixed with his loose temperament for painting, and for his themes that express more of a temperament, in addition to an approximation of imagery symbols with the naturalist image, aligning the timelessness of beauty with the transience of its style. Deep connoisseur of art, the author shows in his work the inspiration that comes from within himself and through canvas, paints and brushes he brings his creation to life.
